Weather Changes: Update as of Thursday, June 15
Please Read – Lots to Unpack…
As some of you may know, the weather forecast for Saturday doesn’t look great, with steady rain, possibly a 1/2 an inch of rain, and temperatures in the high 50s.
Your safety and those of everyone attending on Saturday is our first priority. We have had rain this whole week in the Killington region as well, and as a result, the decision has been made to:
– only offer the 20-mile and 2.5 mile road routes, plus mountain biking, paddling, and hiking.
– The 87-mile, 60-mile and gravel routes have been condensed into the 20-mile.
We know this is disappointing for many, but we hope those of you who chose those routes will still join in and ride the 20-mile (maybe twice?).
The 20-Mile Route – New Start Time 10:30 a.m.
– Start time: 10:30 a.m. at Skyeship Base Lodge
– Large aid and support station with food and beverages at the Plymouth Community Center on Route 100 (same location as previous years).
– FIVE support vehicles looping around the 20-mile route if you need support while on the road.
– Any leftover food from the other aid stations that we don’t use in Plymouth will be donated to a local food shelf.
– All other morning activities will continue as planned.
The Festival
We have adjusted Saturday’s timeline a bit, so please take a look at the schedule below. Remember: Killington Resort is a Cashless Resort. They have upgraded their systems resort wide to be able to accept Apple, Samsung and Google Pay, as well as continuing to accept all major credit cards, but as of opening day of last winter, they no longer deal in cash so please plan accordingly.
